What is this game?

This game is an RPG with Platformer elements. Explore an island with secrets to uncover and collectables to find. All while fighting enemies in an unorthodox way by hitting orbs around them while dodging their attacks.

This game was inspired by the likes of Undertale, the Mario & Luigi Series, and Critical Adventure.

This project was made during my Final Year Project module during my time in Teesside University, and since then I have been adding small changes to make the game much more playable.

Additional Notes

The version of Unreal the game uses has been changed from 5.0 to 5.1 so building the game was easier for me, that came with a few changes with the game, however its nothing too noticeable.

What's new?

- New areas, the Southern Nimbulands, the Abandoned Fortress and the Colosseum!

- Added 4 new bosses to the Colosseum!

- 4 new enemies and 2 new bosses!

- 2 new Quests

- Added a cutscene that plays when you create a new game

- Finalized Day/Night Cycle

- Orb height changes for most classes

- Dual Daggers do 10% less damage, however the defense debuff increases your damage by the same amount as before

- Adjusted enemies stats slightly

- Other minor bug fixes

Next Update

This next update, I want to try and get the northern part of the Nimbulands done. I also want to try and update the game to have your progress save through versions, since restarting is a bit annoying for how long this game can be. I may even try to get this game on Steam by then! Finally, I do want to try and add some accessibility settings, I don't really have any experience with doing this, so that could be hard for me.
